Expoprotection 2018 report
Among the 785 exhibiting companies there were 300 new products, solutions and services unveiled and presented. The show also revealed the winners of the Expoprotection Awards and hosted the Start-up and Expert Villages. Through this packed programme, everyone at the show was able to find technological and strategic solutions tailored to their current and future problems.
Winners of the 2018 Expoprotection Awards
The panel of around a dozen expert final users examined some remarkable innovations this year – connected and intelligent PPE (IoT), E-textiles, crisis management solutions (self-contained emergency shelters, lightweight stretchers, simulation tools) as well as a range of solutions aimed at tackling RSI (robots, exoskeletons, ergonomic tools).
Expoprotection start-ups: where are they now?
Acting as a real springboard for innovation, the show’s previous two editions have included a dedicated area for start-ups in the risk prevention sector. At the 2018 edition, the Start-up Village featured around 20 exhibitors.
Two years later, Expoprotection has been catching up on the progress of the technologies and companies presented at the previous edition.
