ASIZ was founded in 2001 and now it is a self-regulated, non-commercial organization that unites 83 leading organizations and enterprises working at the Russian PPE market, supplying about 80% of the whole volume of PPE.
Among members of ASIZ there are 7 PPE scientific-research institutes, more than 20 PPE manufacturing companies and more than 50 PPE supplying companies, including enterprises from 33 regions of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, France (Sperian Protection), Germany (UVEX, Stoko, Peter Greven EuroAsia, Schuberth, Schumer),USA (3M, Аncell, Dupont), etc.
ASIZ, upon the task assigned by the Ministry of Health and Social Development, has serious influence on formatting and development of Russian PPE market, elaborates drafts of norms and documents that have to regulate free supply of PPE to workers, national PPE standards, methodological recommendations on correct choice and use of PPE, etc. They are basic documents for all the industries in Russia.
Apart of that, ASIZ takes care of common interests of members in realization of the state PPE policy and profitable cooperation, in solving of market and ethical disputes, in organizational, scientific-technological and legal aspects and in development of the PPE information systems and databases.
With a view to promote modern products and technologies, ASIZ is organizing in Moscow every year the main PPE exhibition in Russia « Safety and Labour Protection » that will take place 7-10 December 2010 in the newly built pavilion. http://www.soopt.ru/exhibition2010eng.asp
ASIZ is also organizing per year in Russia 5-7 big regional industrial exhibitions and conferences devoted to PPE and labour protection .
Apart of that, ASIZ is either participating in or visiting all the large PPE exhibitions in the world like A+A, Expoprotection and others in China, England, Poland, etc.
